About Stuart Taylor
Stuart Taylor received his Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy having trained and graduated from The Clifton Practice, Bristol in 2004.He is a Member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP), the Hypnotherapy Society (HS) and is registered by the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO).
Stuart has an active interest in advancing both the application and understanding of hypnotic techniques and has written course notes for hypnotherapy students, participated in a documentary film about hypnosis, and continues to lecture to students and present talks to the general public about this fascinating subject.
As well as running his full time clinical hypnotherapy practice he enjoys entertaining audiences with demonstrations of psychological illusion and close up magic at private and public functions in and around Bristol.
Stuart wholeheartedly believes that change does not have to hurt or be painful in any way, in fact it is his firm conviction that we learn and progress much more easily, quickly and thoroughly when we are enjoying the process. Therefore each session is tailored to suit the client and their personality and is conducted in an appropriately positive manner.
In his practice he utilises hypnosis and cognitive/behavioural approaches along with Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to encourage his clients to discover abilities that may have seemed beyond their reach and to unlock potential skills and existing strengths.
His practice is based at The Bristol Natural Health Service, a multi-discipline complementary health clinic situated in the Horfield area of Bristol.
